Compost boosts plant growth

We are growing canna lilies in pots on the windowsill.  Canna lillies grow beautiful flowers, and we can bring the pots outside in summer.

Both lilies were planted at the same time, but one is taller and has bigger leaves, because we added our compost to its pot, but didn't add compost to the other.

Marquis: I've seen our plants grow bigger when you add compost.  Ruler and Rakeem agree.
Rakeem: Compost has nutrients in it.  Nutrients allow plants to grow tall.
Marquis: I think I might use compost when I grow my watermelon in the summer.
Terrence: Now that we know CJA's compost is so good, people might want to buy it.
